I’m Amanda; cake designer, baking enthusiast, and mum. I’ve been passionate about baking from a young age, and always hoped to one day run my own small business.
Having worked in many varied fields including science, design, and floristry, I made the decision to study Patisserie in the evenings. It was soon the start of a new found obsession, and I quickly became a regular at local markets selling my delicious cupcakes – hence, Lovely Little Cakes was born.
Making cakes has been a great creative outlet, letting me channel both my design skills and my love for baking. Since starting Lovely Little Cakes several years ago, I am grateful to have made hundreds of cakes for beautiful people all over South Australia!
At Lovely Little Cakes I take pride not only in making sure that my cakes look beautiful, but that they taste amazing too! This is the result of using the highest quality, local, and organic ingredients that I can get my hands on. You can rest assured that your order will be made with great attention and love – all from scratch in small batches – in my studio kitchen in Kapunda, South Australia.
I’m proud to offer a large range of vegan, gluten free, dairy free, refined sugar free, tree nut free, or plant based desserts, and I can cater to most individual food intolerances. I’d love to work with you and customise your dream cake!
